Volunteer Experiences
Since our inception in 2004, we have welcomed volunteers from around the globe to work in various areas at Rancho Margot. On average, we host 8 – 10 volunteers each month, working in la huerta (the garden), reception, kitchen, bar, performing as tour guides, working with bees and many other areas as well! Below outlines a few of the hundreds of volunteer experiences shared by these amazing individuals during their time at Rancho Margot!
“My time as volunteer at Rancho Margot was one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences while traveling Central America! Impressed and enchanted, I came as a guest and decided to stay on as volunteer. In exchange for my work I received so much more than delicious home grown food and comfortable accommodation: friendship, warmth, fun, inspiration, a taste of community living in a unique environment and the healing powers of nature! Thank you, Rancho Margot, for a lasting loving imprint you left in my heart! I’ll be back!” - Julia Schweiger, Austria
